Hey everyone,
Most of you on here are friends, or know Ryan (Deca), he lives, or lived, in the Cotton Mills Lofts.... his place was destroyed last night- he pretty much has nothing left at all and needs some help. I know everyone is tight on funds, but if anyone can- I have set up a paypal account to collect money to help him out, the link is on my myspace page on the left- "DONATE" button. Please, if you can help him out in anyway, it would be much appreciated. Hes going through a very hard time right now and needs any help he can get.

ahhhhhhhhhh im so excited!
Adam and I are officially booked for New Years.
We fly in Sunday December 30, I land 3 hours before him but I dont even care because Ill be in New York!
Were staying at this hotel near where hes playing for New Years Eve, the first 2 nights, because that way were 4 miles away and dont have to fight traffic... blah blah blah... on Jan 1st we switch hotels to The Marriott in Manhattan off 5th Avenue :)

Its AWESOME. And we stay there for 2 nights, so were right in the heart of everything. I hope it snows <3
I fly back here on Thursday Jan 3rd at 9pm and he flys to LA to play another show.

things have been good :o) just been making new friends, hittin up the beach alot, gettin my drink on, stayin busy at work- im pretty content right now :o) and it feels good for a change! Sunday night im going to see Hybrid at House of Blues where my buddy James ( *sigh* lol) is the resident Dj....
Ive started to get ready for Miami and WMC....theres so much left to do in a week since I only have 1 day off untill I leave. eek. James is going as well so were gunna hang out there which is gunna be fun, I have plans to meet up with 'Jungle Josh' which will be awesome, i havent seen him in years. And Darrell is playing at Automatic Slims which is one of our local hangouts down there so im gunna shoot over there and see him as well. :o) Im very excited to see old faces! :o) and I died my hair the other day! Its Cherry Chocolate y0! Kinda red in the sun brown...not in the sun....lol i love it :o)

Im not happy.
Im really homesick today.
Scott and I had plans to go to the HomeShow tonight and then to the movies which I was really excited about.
And then today he tells me " I dont want to spend my Friday night at the homeshow, Im gunna do drink at Josh's instead"
ooooooooook. Thanks alot. You do that and I'll sit home by myself.
Im almost considering going to the homeshow by myself, but the convention center is big and I dont really want to do that by myself.
I just think thats so rude, I would never have done that to him.
Then he says " Sometimes I just want to hang out with my friends" which is fine, good for you, but dont break plans with me to do it.
And he tells me " you need to make friends and do the same". Regardless if I have friends or not, dont be an ass and break plans with me and be rude about it.
And if I had time to make friends, in between working my ass off to pay our bills, dont you think Id have some?
I have aquaintences, which is fine for when im at work, or going out drinking, but none of us really have anything in common other then that.
I miss Laurie.
I miss Jodi.
I miss having real friends.
Im sick of working.
Im sick of being BROKE.
I hate bills.
I cant save any money, at all.
This move is stressing me out.
I dont care about this new house......

Im not fond of the roommate at the moment, but what else is new. sometimes i can just tolerate her more then other times. but I dont ever really like her. shes so snobby and thinks the world revolves around her. grrr...

like, seriously, I dont think Ive ever had a day like this before. Its been one thing after another after another after another...... lol and now im to the point where im just laughing. Let me recap:
I took 2 tylenol PM's before bed last night b/c I had a migrane from eating wickid spicy salsa, lol whatever, so when I woke up at 9 I was mega-groggy. I walk into the bathroom and I step into a small pond. The water leaked through the roof again and my bathroom floor was completely saturated and the countertop was soaked along w/ everything on it. So I put flip-flops on and, in the poaring rain, walk to the leasing office to get the maintence crew to come fix everything. Like, 4 maintence guys come, and start tearing our ceiling off and crawling around up in the roof trying to find the problem. Mind you, Scott got home from class at 2am and didnt come to bed till 5am, and they maintence guys have this loud ass wet/dry vac blaring to suck the water out of the roof........and all that madness went on untill about 1pm.
So now its 1pm and MONSOONING outside. And I have a TON of erreands to run and cant leave b/c the lightning is CRAZY and there was a tornado spotted nearby. whatever. So I lay down to watch a movie while the storm passes.
Then at 4:30 I get a call from my roommate KC. " Im up at the 7-11 and my car wont start, can you come up here and jump my car". So I go up to the 7-11, and we cant find jumper cables. The cops were being dicks and wouldnt help us out. So Kc went and bought cables at someplace nearby, $10.00, in the poaring rain we try to jump his car- no luck. So I try to put gas in my car so I can drive Kc up to Walmart to buy a new battery for his car. It keeps saying my debit card is declined, declined, declined, so after a few trys I just put it on my credit card, which I was trying to avoid really but whatever. I get gas and we go get a battery and come back and we cant get the orginial bettery bolts off. So were trying and trying and some mechanic who works at the Mobil place across the street happened to be walking to the 7-11, and he wound up comming over and changing the battery for us. really nice guy actually, we were very grateful. So Kc says " im gunna go buy beer and i'll meet you at home". ok cool. I get home and sit down for 2 seconds and get a phone call from Kc, he says " you wont believe this, I got rear-ended leaving 7-11" and of course the guy who hit him doesnt have insurence right. So he had Kc follow him to his house which was close by and Kc got every bit of information on this guy possible. And his insurence will be fixed Monday and then they'll take it from there. whatever not my problem.
But seriously, if one more thing gets fucked up tonight- im going to go crazy.
Now, I need some beer.
I have to be up for work at 6am, I work 8-2, and then from 2-6 I'll be a part of the search for Jennifer Kesse. ( www.jenniferkesse.com)

oi vey. scott got ANOTHER speeding ticket this morning, damn his speeding problem. lol this is rediculous. we have SO MANY bills due within these next 3 weeks. that was the last thing I wanted to pay for. *sigh* guess were not going out any more tonight.....
and i need a second job. or just 1 better paying one.
i <3 american idol. :) im glad its back on tv, i know, im lame.
im off work tomorrow, i need to run some errands and fax my resume to a few places.

So the concert was fucking amazing. Skindred was just awesome, Ive liked them for a good while but never thought I get a chance to see them play out b/c there not mainstream at all, so that was just awesome.
Finch played well even though I dont care for them too much. I like them better as of last night then I did before, but still dont <3 them.
HIM! Was just amazing. Ville Valo is the most amazingly beautiful person I have ever seen. Simply Gorgeous. *swoon* We made our way downstairs and were actually pretty close, so I could see perfectly. We werent allowed to bring in camaras though which sucks because I could have had AWESOME pictures. omgi<3him.
Im off work today, Im gunna go work out and lay by the pool. And obsess about Ville Vallo. *butterflies*

Things have been decent lately for the most part. Just busting my ass these last 2 weeks of school and of course Ive been working a lot as well. I've been working with Mel alot lately so that makes the day a lot more exciting and I dont dread going in as much as I do on days shes not working.
I only have 2 more weeks of school. Thank God. *note to self* I need to call Brown College tomorrow. I cant wait to have the whole summer off. I can FINALLY sleep in past 6am- HELL YES! :)
I've been saving alot of money lately; makes me feel good. :) I bought little Kristin part of her graduation gift today. Im so proud of her. I bet she feels good, out of her mom, aunt, 2 brothers and her sister- she is the first person in the family to graduate from High School. Thats my girl :) I cant wait untill Scott and I go down to see her in June! Ft. Lauderdale- HERE WE COME!! :D
The Swan come on tonight. Looks like I'll be having family time :) I like how much time I've been spending with them lately. Especially since I'm moving out at the end of this year. We have fun together......gotta love the 'rents! <3
Scott came to visit me at work today. Took me to eat at Fazollis- yum! And then we went and played at Target! I saw so much stuff I wanted but I behaved. :) I just love that damn store......I usually spend most of my paycheck there lol

Yesterday was as fabulous a day as it could get. <3 I called in sick b/c I was having migranes again and it was mine and Scotts anniversary and damnit I just wanted to spend time with him. We packed up some stuff and went to Stone Mountian and we walked up the whole damn mountian. I was alright at first, but once we started getting closer to the top I couldnt even breath anymore. I almost blacked out lol HELLO! AND WELCOME TO CRISTEN IS OUT OF SHAPE! :D
We got to the top and we rode the thingy down b/c there was no way in hell I was walking down that thing YO! Then, we realized our car was parked on the other side of the mountian o we had to ride the train back to our car lol All day we took AWESOME picture ( I'll put them up soon) and we went home, watched American Idol which pissed me the fuck off, then Extreem Makeover Home Edition and then MXC and then I went home. I <3 MY BEBE :D We had the best day yesterday, it was SO much fun!
Today, Im going to class, then heading out to Darrells work to meet him for lunch El Azteca style! Im excited!! :D Im excited! :D We's gunna be havin a guud time....:p
Then Scott has 1 more interview at 2pm, after that were gunna go eat an early dinner at Provino's, then watch Kill Bill b/c I bought it, then go see Kill Bill 2! Hell yes! I <3 date nights!
Off to class and to enjoy my day off!

Today is mine and Scotts 1 year and 5 month Anniversary :D Yes, I count the months damnit :) He's off for the rest of the day because he got his promotion and doesn't start untill Monday. So after work (3-7) were gunna go out to eat at Provinos! *YUM* And then I must watch my American Idol, or I'll die! :p
Havent been feeling so hot lately. The past 2 nights Ive had the WORST migranes possible and this morning I woke up with one. *sigh* Maybe im stressed out? or maybe its allergies? I dont know....
I did my oral presentation this morning. It was HARD, but it's done, and I feel better. :D Only 2 more weeks of school, then Im off untill September! I get to sleep past 6am for 5 freaking months! HELL YES!
Darrell- You hafta email me directions to your work. Im psyched about our lunch date tomorrow!! :D Were gunna get down- Mexican style!!!! Yeahh Ese!! :D
My hair looks cute today. I wanna get it dyed again. I want some real chunky red and blonde highlights in it. Im guna wait closer to the time of mine and Scotts trip back to Ft. Lauderdale. *eeek!* I cant wait!!! <3
I havent smoked a ciggerette in like 3 weeks and Im craving one BAD. I dont know what to do...Im not gunna let myself, or Scott, down and give in. F- that. But I must smoke!! lol blah, this sucks...
I want to go to the Renissance Festival. I wanted to go Saturday w/ Jodi and Brad and Scott buuuut I hafta work untill 3. So now that I know its going on for awhile, maybe I'll go next weekend or something. *shrugs*

So yeah, my school was on the news last night: 2 chicks robbed in the past 2 days or something. Make me feel real safe about being there, lemmie tell ya. Just one more reason why I hate my campus, and my school all together.
My friend Jacqueline leave for Iraq soon. Im pretty sad about it. Her and I were gunna join the same softball team this summer but I completely understand why shes doing what shes doing. Its just gunna be hard for me to go home and watch the news every night and HOPE I dont see something bad has happened to her. I dont know what Id do. *sigh* Everyone keep her in your thoughts. <3
Scott has his 2nd interview for his Account Executive position today! I know he'll do fine. Once again, he was all anxious and didnt sleep at all last night so hopefully he'll get enough rest now so he'll be in good shape when he gets there.
American Idol is on tonight! I want to watch it but I need to get ready for my shit-tacular oral presentation I have tomorrow. God- I hate school.
This Asian noodle pasta thing I just made is killer. <3 Yum!

So my Lit. class, which I have to leave for in a minute, yeah were having our oral reports today and Thursday. Not sure how were getting split up but im already so nervous. Anyone have any good tips on how to do good? Im the worst, absoloute worst, at speaking in front of an audience. I get all nervous and I talk low and I look down and I studder. *sigh* Im freaking nervous- someone help mee!!! :( |
